Country Music is the foundation on which Camp Moosehead was built. Impromptu concerts are a common occurrence and occasionally we end up with musicians from all over. Although country music is the common theme, we play other kinds of music as well.

Don "Moose" Shenck
If you've ever visited Camp Moosehead you're sure to have heard Moose sing a song or two.  Moose is an accomplished song writer who has co-published and co-produced an album in Nashville. The album included 6 of his original songs performed by Sped & Vic. It also featured a song written by his daughter, Dale Carroll, and it was sold worldwide.  Moose has written more songs than we can count.  Some of our favorites are "Here Comes the Broadway", "Wicked Witch of the West", "Story About My Buddy Butch" and "No Sympathy".  Holiday favorites are, "Christmas in Pennsylvania" and "There's One On Every Corner".
